Hans has had an interview with a Albertsons in Washington and is supposed to talk to another person this week, but the guy is taking forever! I know it is only Wednesday, but it seemed like he should have been calling Hans already.
He also had a phone interview with a Walgreens in Lake Charles, Louisiana. From this interview the lady is sending him benefits information already. After Hans gets this he is supposed to call and talk to the lady again. Possible job offer? MAYBE?! She read Hans' interview information from the Walgreens interview that took place about a month ago. The only reason he didn't get that job is because they hired people that already had Walgreens experience. :(
Hans got a call from a company in Phoenix, AZ and is supposed to check it out after he gets out of school. But with the heat in mind and it isn't all that easy to get there, but car... he doesn't really want to go there. We will of course take what we can get, but this one has FT positions now, but they might not in a year, due to over hiring. (Which I thought was ridiculous). Why wouldn't they just hire the bunch that they need and not lay anyone off? Good point I know, but I was glad that they told Hans that he could get laid off, before we decide to live there. Granted that the most ideal place to work would be in Utah, but we might not need to be here right now. I guess Hans would get a job otherwise; right?
As you can tell we are still waiting and looking for opportunities so if you know anything, pass them our way, please.

Enough said....
As I mentioned in an earlier post; we are in need of a new bed. I thought for sure that I wanted a sleep number bed that you can adjust the toughness of it. After trying out the sleep number beds and not being too impressed... Hans and I were about the same number so we thought why not get a normal bed since we are about the same of firmness. This led us to RCWilley and we found the bed that we love. Serta Natural Sleep-Cyprus! It was so soft and didn't cost nearly as much as the sleep number beds. I think I have now convinced Hans that we need a new bed. He was dreading sleeping on our hard bed after feeling what a nice soft bed would feel like. Hahaha we are still going to wait until after he gets a job, but are hopeful that it will happen soon, since we both woke up sore this morning. : )
Hans has a phone interview with Albertsons up in Oregon today and we have our fingers crossed!
Good luck Hans!

WE ARE PREGNANT!
Here are some pictures of the ultrasound today at my first appointment. Please refer to the post titled WOOOOOHOOOOOooo! for more detail...
Tid bit from today's visit:
Hans asked Arlee what the baby's name would be.... JESUS CHRIST! She is such a funny little girl and we can't wait to see this little one and what it is going to be like.
I had a dream last night that it was a boy, but we'll see.
Until next time, keep on cookin' baby!

Huge Need...
Alright! As you can tell I am in a huge need of something. That little something is a new bed. My sweet grandma gave me my bed when I was about 15 years old... well now I am 23 almost 24. My... now our bed is in need of a replacement. I swear my aching hips, sore shoulders and knees are from this hard bed. Not only is the bed hard it has very old springs which I don't like anymore.
I am in love with the Sleep Number beds at the mall. I would love one, because sometimes a hard, soft or medium bed would be nice. Sometimes, I prefer the couch as I am just not sleeping well on the bed.
However, most other times the bed, but just because it has my cuddle buddy in it. Who by the way also can't sleep on his one side since his shoulder hurts. Haha! Probably from the bed I think.
Our bed has been a nice one, but it is time to trade it in. Don't ya think?
Hans doesn't think so... Why? He needs a job first. I would love to get this bed problem taken care of, but with out a job. There is no use in spending our funds in case we might need them while he still doesn't have a job. I will tell ya. I am really wanting this job searching to end. At this point, it is almost pointless to look for a job since everything that he could do until his license gets here is now full. So now we wait.... If you know of anything lets us know. The sooner he gets his job, the sooner I get my bed. : )

Mothers' Day!
For Mothers' Day we woke up and Hans made cinnamon and orange rolls. After we ate we went to church, came home and went to my parents' house for dinner. It was a great dinner and all went well.
Hans and Arlee got me some lilys, a 16GB memory card for the camera (much needed), and two movies: The Back Up Plan and Baby Mama.
It was a great day and I look forward to many more. Here are some pictures of the day:
Arlee and I making faces at Hans
Pictures of the Lilys
Cinnoman and orage rolls.
Sorry they are kind of jumbled.
Happy Mothers' Day to ALL you women out there.
By the way keep my sister and her husband in mind if you hear of any adoption opportunities. :)

What is wrong with this picture?
What is wrong with this picture? I wonder this almost instantly when I look into my fridge. It isn't because there isn't any food in it. It isn't because it is lacking any goodness that will fill my need for something cold and chocolaty. It is because everything is catching a MOLD cold or something! Really gross, I know.
Mold hasn't been a problem since during our first year of marriage, but now... a little different story. I haven't eaten the left overs and I still don't. The only thing I can think of is that it is Hans' doing. Either, I am cooking way too much for him to eat? By the look of Hans some might think that he is starving or just doesn't eat that much. Or I am not a good cook. I like to think that I am a good cook so I guess it is not that. I really haven't been cooking much lately. With that in mind, it probably isn't too much for him to eat. So what is wrong with this picture?
It must be that the fridge is going out. Yep that is it. Seriously, it couldn't be anything else. Or could it? You tell me. Oh and by the way, mold is disgusting and will kill any kind of appetite that you may have and now had.
Happy eating to all of you readers.

WOOOHooooo!
WE ARE.... PREGNANT! I found out around 4:45 PM on April 7th! I called Hans and told him the news since he wasn't with me. He was at his rotation and then heading to work. his reatcion was excited and since I was excited I couldn't keep it from him until he cam home at 10 PM! Just to make sure I took another test on April 8th in the morning. Then we called our family and close friends. This time around I didn't want to blurt it out until after my first doctor's appointment. Then we left for a weekend in Louisiana. It was so weird to find out and not see anyone for a few days; especially Arlee. I left one baby at home and the other I had with me. : P
CRAZY RIGHT?!
We are so excited to be expecting again and can't wait to see the little one. I am due December 12th. I have been really tired and sometimes a little sick with out really feeling like I am going to loose my lunch. I think it has just been from me being tired. I get like that when I have not been sleeping well for a few days. So I have noted to getting more sleep than what I usually get and hopefully I will not be getting sick anymore.
Smells bug me. We were over at someone's house for dinner and I got a whif of the meat they were cooking and it didn't smell good and I almost lost it. (Only time I think I was going to throw up) Needless to say, I skipped out on the meat that meal and ate everything else.
I am trying to control myself and not eat every stinking time that I am hunry. Last time, I did that and I gained a lot of weight. Hopefully, my plan will work. I think I gained a lot of water weight too, but who knows? I looked chunky and not just because I was pregnant it was because I would eat anything I felt like. Not this time. I am not going to eat the junk. I am sure it will be occasionally, but not everyday. So far so good. Yesterday (May 1st-writting this and posting it after my appointment) Hans' mom made cookies and I didn't have any. It made it easier that they had nuts in them, but still I really wanted one. YAY for me.
Something else that I am doing is working out for atleast an hour, but I usually have time to do about 3 hours. I just feel like baby steps is a good start. I also have to keep my heart rate down below 140 and that is hard. Especially, since I don't like to take things slow. Oh well, that is my story as of now.
This was my first test and the picture that I tried sending to Hans, but my phone wasn't allowing it. : (
After my second test! YAY!!!!
Oh yeah, tid bit with Arlee:
ME: "Arlee do you want a baby brother or a baby sister?"
Arlee: "baby sister"
ME: "Arlee do you want a baby sister or a baby brother?"
Arlee: "baby sister"
I was thinking that if I changed it around then she would say the one I said last, but always the same even a few weeks after the fact. Hopefully she is excited either way. Right?
