Arlee's 1st Birthday!!!

I can't believe it Arlee is ONE!  She has one tooth, going on two.  We were able to see her take her first steps today which ended up being seven consecutive.  Hooraay!!! She weighs 19lbs 8oz. and is 30 1/4 inches tall.  Her doctor told me that she will be tall and skinny if she keeps on the track that she is on during her one year check up.  Arlee got her six shots during that check up and hasn't really felt good since.  I took her in on Friday for her appointment and by Monday she had digestive issues.  I am telling you we are on day four of non stop laundry.  Luckily, we a great set of appliances to make everything back to normal again.  Thank goodness for those!
Anyway, here are some pictures of her birthday parties:

Can life get any better when you can now see it coming?

We both agree that: IT CANNOT!

Arlee's actual birthday March 25, 2010: Hans and I didn't want to make a cake for just her so we got her a cup cake of her very own!

Okay I admit I helped her get messy at first and then she got more into it.

She wanted to feed us instead of eat it.  Which was okay until she only gave you frosting. YUCK!

See Look! haha

Grandma's Treat to Fiddler On The Roof

My grandma decided that we were in need of a girl's night out.  She has always loved going to the plays at Hale Theater.  Fiddler on the Roof was coming to town and thought it would be a good idea to take all the granddaughters out for that.  We were of course missing some that live out of state, but it was a lot of fun.  Here are some pictures that I managed to capture of the night.
My sisters Kali and Lyndsay and me.... my sister, Abbie was a couple people down from me. : (

This was the stage that everyone sits around.  I didn't really like to go to plays much before going to this theater.  It was great to be in a smaller place where the audiance sits around the stage.  You feel so much more into it I think.

The Fiddler, who happened to actually be a girl!

These last pictures were from the scene where the father agreed to a marriage of his first daughter.  There was a lot of energy in this dance as well as many others.
All around I loved this play and would suggest it to anyone.  The main guy was hillarious!

Bright Colors Attract Little Babies

I have a hard time sometimes figuring out what to do with Arlee at times when I need to get something done and she wants attention.  These bowls that I have found at the house have been a life saver on many dinner making occasions.  Thank you to the Bright Color Bowl Makers!

She'll stack them, toss them, bite on them, flip them over and talk to them... What a little Cutie

Choo Choo Train Ride at South Towne Mall

My mom and I went shopping together one day at South Towne Mall in Sandy, Utah.  We saw this really cute train ride that could fit both adults and kids.  Mom thought that it would be a great thing to bring Kasiah and Jayden to ride on it with Arlee.
After talking about it for a couple of weeks it was time to go for a ride on it.  Arlee and I met my mom, Jayden , Lyndsay and Kasiah at the mall.  "All ABOARD!", said the conductor and off we went.  Here are some pictures of our mall touring adventure:
Kasiah, Arlee and Jayden waiting to board the train

Me and Arlee enjoying the ride

Kasiah and Jayden loved looking out the car and waving to everyone

Arlee tried, but as you can see she was little too small, but still loved every minute of it

My mom waving to us as we went by

Very tiny cart...But somehow we all fit.

Landon is here! March 4, 2010

Our nephew, Landon is finally here and what a littl cutie he is!
He weighed 7lbs 7oz. just like his only sibling, Brock (Crazy huh?)

Hans and Landon

Me and Landon (Crazy to think that Arlee was even smaller than him when she was born)

The proud parents with Landon.  Hans' brother, Jens and Sister in law, Amy

We are so thankful that Landon and Amy are both doing well.  We love you guys!

My Dad with Arlee

My dad is really great at getting Arlee to sleep.  This one, I thought was worth taking a picture.
Awww TENDER!  I love this picture

Arlee and Jayden having a riot

Since Arlee has been a little bit more mobile and I have been over to my parent's house often. My mom and I decided that it was time to put the child gate up so we didn't have to be right on top of Arlee all the time.  Here are some pictures of Arlee and my nephew, Jayden playing at the gate.
Aww... the dark eyed babies. Well I guess Jayen is two and a half, but still

Jayden loved going in and out of the gate, but in turn it isn't the best for Arlee to be there then. So his mom, Lyndsay made him stay out there for five minutes everytime he did it.  That solved it right there after about the third time.  Good job Lynds

Last one!
