Here are some pictures of what Arlee calls, "MY new house". We ask her if we can share it with her and she will tell us no and say it is "MY new house, not YOUR (mine and Hans') new house." We'll even tell her that we are going home and she'll say, "No, I want to go to MY new house."
ARLEE'S new house
Arlee's room and the new baby's room when it arrives. Kind of hoping for another girl because then I can leave everything the same. : )
The play house that we made for her to replace the one we had in our old house. My mom and I made this.
Arlee sleeps in the toddler bed and we have since moved the baby's bed away from hers since she likes to climb up on it and get in it. I put her down for a nap one afternoon and found her in the baby's bed. She had a huge smile on her face to make it even more funny. I couldn't help, but laugh at the situation. This isn't the only time either. Last night she was trying to get in it we are guessing... we heard her screaming and so we went up stairs and she said that she bonked her head trying to get into baby's bed. That is when we moved it a few feet away...
Guest bedroom and office. We don't want to scare anyone that wants to come see us the floor space could easily fit a queen blow up matress. Just a thought. And if you have any kids they can sleep in Arlee's room. She loves having sleep overs I found out after watching my nephew, Brock for a couple of days.
I know these pictures are kind of the same, but I wanted to get the vaulted ceilings in there. We have them in all three of the bedrooms.
This is the main bathroom which would be shared with guests and Arlee.
The stairs in our house... beautiful huh? Hahaha... notice the vaulted ceilings
Our bedrooom
Our bathroom
Half bathroom on the main floor.
Dining room
Kitchen
Kitchen and dining room. By the way I love all of our counter space that we have now.
Living room/ work out room
Another tid bit for you. We have a backyard, but it is very small and not fenced in at all. Arlee has made use of some chalk and bubbles out there though. Our house is 1400 sq feet. 3 bd 2 and a 1/2 baths and as you can tell one car garage. All the bedrooms and the 2 full bathrooms are upstairs. Kitchen, dining, living room and the half bath are on the main level.
Well now that you have seen our place here on internet doesn't mean that you get the excuse not to come and see us. We would love to have vistors. Just make sure you give me a day warning okay? OKAY? Ha ha ha... jokes.
What do we have to do here (that we have found so far):
Camping: 10 mintues away
Movies:5 minutes away
Bike/ walking paths 5 minutes away
Parks: They seem to be everywhere, but our favorite one so far is 5 minutes away
Floating down the river: 10-15 minutes away
Not sitting in traffic EVER!
Go to church: 5-10 minutes
Draw with Chalk: out the front/back door
Blow bubbles: out the front/back door
Be with nature: Anywhere and everywhere: 5 mintues plus
Seattle: 2.5 hours
Pasco/ Kennewick, Walla Walla (a.k.a. TRI CITIES): about an hour
Yakima Airport: 10 minutes max
Mexican food: everywhere but 5 minutes
Italian food: 10 minutes
American food: 5 minutes
Fishing: 2 minutes (there are lakes and rivers everywhere here. I am surprised it looks so dry. Much like Utah though. The mountains are not as pretty, but I will take them.

wow! what a cute house! I am so jealous, everything will be old when we move in. Hopefully I can make it look as cute as yours! where did you get those cute wall decals for arlees room? And the sign? Where do you shop for your stuff? I am so excited for you guys. Give arlee a hug for me. it was fun getting to bond with her the last time i saw her. she is a good kid!
Thanks Jeni we have just used all the stuff that we have collected to decorate the other places that we lived. I was surprised to see how nice our place when we got here. The only pictures I saw before moving in was of the outside, so by the time I got inside I was amazed. You'll have to post pictures when you get there and get it all decorated. I noticed your blog was on private and I hope that we can still read it through an invitation.
I got the decals at Babies R Us before we had Arlee. They match the crib set that we got for her. The A.R.L.E.E. letters were a shower gift that I am going to try and make for the new baby. They have been "Modge Podged" I have tried it before with our last name, but it didn't turn out that cute.
You should know that I have given Arlee a hug for you and a kiss. Hopefully, Sophie will have kids her own age that she can play with. I know that Arlee would be missing you guys a lot more if she didn't. Your move is coming up so quick. Good luck!
