Everything was going great! We got to our house and unloaded the car. After talking to the moving company we decided to leave and check things out around town. They weren't going to get there until 5 PM. My mom usually takes me shopping for my birthday (coming up on July 13th) if she doesn't already know what to get me. Since we are living away from her now we took care of that while she was up here. She got me some shoes and a necklace. The shoes worked well for Sunday since I couldn't find any of my shoes or jewelry. Anyway, the mall here is small, but it works for what we needed it for.
After shopping we went to the park and let Arlee play. I needed to stock up on the staple items that we didn't already have with us. We went to Target and got most of the way done with our shopping to find out that it wasn't a Super Target so it didn't have all the food items I needed. No wonder why the sign looked so funny! Anyway, buying meat for me is a bit of a struggle since I really like Harmons meat (all natural) and most other places, put stuff in it. I guess since working at Harmons and educating customers on their products verse the comp. it really grosses me out. Also cutting the fat off the chicken is really gross to me. Which, you never have to do with the chicken breasts at Harmons. Well we ended up buying meat at Albertsons. I will have to find the new best place to buy it. Any suggestions?
The movers were supposed to call and let me know when they were an hour out from our place. After 4 o'clock came and went and they were going to be there at 5 I called the company again. They said they would call them and have them call me. No call and it was 5 by this time. Called them again and then the guy told me that they were stuck in TRAFFIC 11 miles out from our house (by the way there is no traffic out here. it isn't like it is Salt Lake). So I called the movers... they didn't speak English very well and they told me 20 minutes. Well then it was 5:30 and they still weren't here! I was getting really annoyed by this point. Called them again to ask them if they were lost. No answer. Then they called me after about 10 minutes and were coming up the street and weren't sure which complex we lived in. We don't live on a complex. Then I heard the truck and they unloaded our stuff.
Let me tell you it is a good thing that there is such a thing as delivery since was a stinking hungry! They managed to only break a couple of things that aren't too important, but they will be paying for. Oh yeah and they sliced our new matress with a razor blade!!! It is only about 2 inches long and on the side, but still I would love it in the condition it left in. Bought it from RCWilley and the closest one is BOISE, ID which is about 7 hours away. Better believe they will be paying for that too. So irritating.
All in all I loved having movers and them loading and unloading everything while I told them where to take it. So glad that my mom could drive up with us. My dad giving us a free night in a hotel and the 1st lady messing up royal so we got another night free. Hans coming home safely from training and making it to our new house. My mom helping us unpack and being a trooper through the lifting things here and there so I didn't have to. Hans taking care of us and just having a positive attitude about everything. Arlee for being such a big girl and being accident free the whole time that we were driving. To little baby for staying put and making my appointment with out Hans an easy one. Not only that but the move as well. Also to little baby for being a hard little mover to easy my worrying. YES, I felt the baby move for the first time during sunday school at church. Happiest moment in our time in Yakima. That is one way to make a paranoid mother smile.

Arlee and I posing for a picture (Hans was at his training in California)
This was taken one of the days that we were packing... Adorable
This is one of the places Arlee patiently waited for the movers to finish
Our living room in the apartment
This is in Ellensburg, WA were we stayed for the second night.
No my mom doesn't have a lot of moles on her face, Arlee just kicked up the water as I took the picture. She had a great time.
