Arlee has started preschool! I can't believe it.
I didn't get teary-eyed either.
That was pretty amazing.
Maybe I will when she goes to kindergarten in a couple years.
Two other Super Moms and I are doing a Co-Op Preschool called:
MOOGAN Academy!
I know it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I put our three last names together and that is what I got.
Moon, Hoge and Norman.
I used the first two of Moon, Second two of Hoge and last two of Norman. Pretty clever aye?
Arlee's boot makes things a little interesting on how we can do things, but somehow we make it work. Actually, with Arlee being away from me she has been walking a lot more. It is a good thing, because I was tired of carrying both of the girls and trying to lock the car while heading to the grocery store. I also don't have to look for a parking spot by the carts anymore either.
Arlee loves the letter "A"! That was the first letter that they worked on. And it is what her name starts with too. She loves the craft projects, coloring and sometimes working on learning how to write the letters that we are working on.
We teach one week a month twice during that week for 2 1/2 hours.
I got to do the 2nd week. We did B as in baker. We baked cookies and decorated them in RED and GREEN-those were the colors that we worked on, traced the letter B, played pat-a-cake, worked on circles. We did some other things too.
It went really well and I enjoyed every minute of it. The girls were hilarious on some things and kind of frustrating on others. They had their moments when they wouldn't listen or wanted to go play. "They will get better' is what I have to keep telling myself.
Can't wait for the next time I teach.
Until next time,
The Hoges
