Live in the present. Haha

This continues our Utah trip activities. Still Sunday with both families for my birthday.
 Arlee, Kasiah and Brock
Arlee, Landon, Me, Brock, Kasiah and Lydia- After this picture you better believe I thought it was hot in that room.
Arlee blowing out my brownie cake- not a fan of regular cake.
 Opening my presents
This picture I am laughing because, my niece, Kasiah got me a very thoughtful present. She made a bracelet out of a rubber band and a paper clip. And she gave me $1.69 in change from her piggy bank. She is so cute! I thought it was a very thoughtful present and truly made my day.
I know I am weird, but I really wanted a food chopper. I hate cutting onions so that was my want for sure!
A jewelry organizer... seriously didn't think I would use it, but I am loving it! I can find everything so quickly.

After the party was over we watched the thunder and lightening storm. The girls would yell: "Go lightening GO!!!!!!!!!!" over and over again. Usually interrupted my laughing and giggling, but it was nice watching them cheer on the storm.

Lydia's Blessing

When thinking about Lydia's blessing we really wanted everyone to be able to come. Let alone see her for the first time. So before she even arrived we decided to make the trip to Utah and bless her there. Being surrounded by family and friends we had a great trip. Here are a few of the moments caught.
Lydia in her blessing dress. My parents buy the blessing outfits for the grandchildren like my Dad's mom did for us. Thank you to my parents for the adorable dress.

Sorry to those who didn't get a picture with her in the dress, but were there. It was a hectic day.
 My parents with Lydia.

My sister, Kali above and below with her husband, Shawn.

Not liking this picture of us, but I am glad that we got one, before The Girls got too impossible.
 My brother, Dane
Four generations! Me, Grandma, Lydia and my mom.
Of course, we had to get Arlee in on the picture.

Arlee was given her birthday present a month early so they could see her open it. She loves it. Brock and Arlee had so much fun playing together while we were there. It seems weird they can comunicate and play together. They are growing so fast.
We didn't want to wait to give Brock his present so he got his early. His birthday isn't until May though. HAHA!

When we were driving down to Utah we stopped and met up with my dad. He was driving his tractor and thought that he would carry on the tradition that he started with my nephew, Jayden. Arlee was supposed to sit in it and honk the horn, but she wouldn't. I am thinking that she didn't really know who my dad was with his hat and sunglasses on. Plus she had not seen him since October. Anyway, it was a short visit since we both needed to keep going.
My dad and Arlee. As you can see she wasn't up to honking it.
My brother, Brady and his girlfriend, Sara.

This picture wasn't staged at all. My sister, Abbie with her husband, Matt. They would be great parents when the time came. The are still looking for a child to adopt and love. *Pass it along.

Abbie has been working with horses for a non profit organization for a few months now. She has been enjoying it so much. Abbie mentioned going horse back riding and I jumped on the idea. I hadn't been in so long. Hans was a little more hesitant since this was his first time. Jake and Dane wanted to come with us too. We left The Girls with my mom and took off. It was really windy and cold, but we had a lot of fun. I was pretty sore the next few days from it too. My goals were to have fun and not fall off the horse. Mission accomplished!
Abbie instructing Hans how to ride the horse.
Jake getting instruction
After the ride and we are all alive. None of us got thrown off either. It was a blast.
Me with Samson- race horse that was donated since it wasn't fast enough. Hans with Ali.

I have been dying to get Arlee's hair cut and while we were there I decided it was time. She did great!

This trip was made possible by these two little feet! We love both of our girls and are so grateful to have them in our lives.

Peters Here= Playtime

My sister, Lyndsay came into town with her family. When they are in town most of the family if not all gathers to have some fun with them. Here are some pictures from our adventures with them.

Jump and Bounce (7800 S and about 4100 W in West Jordan): This place was full of balloon slides where not only the kids could have fun, but the adults too. It was a blast and not that expensive either.

Hans and Arlee

Arlee getting ready to go down

Jayden posing for a picture

Arlee just loved the slides

This slide was by far her favorite. She needed help getting up the part on the right in order to go down, but we loved it too.

Jake with Dallon and Kasiah

Arlee dancing to the music. Katy Perry's firework song.

This one hurts your feet at the end, because it was so steep. We tried really hard to avoid getting hurt on it, but it didn't work.

Arlee riding the blow up animal

My brother, Jake being all sorts of crazy.

Kasiah, Me and Arlee taking a breather for the camera.

My brother in law, David would throw Kasiah in the air to land on the arch here. They loved it.

Jayden being tossed!

(no one was hurt in the insanity)

Trying to get all the kiddos up so they could slide down together. This thing was steep!

Jayden going down the slide

Jayden and Kasiah stopping to grab a slice of pizza (which we are all pretty sure that we got sick from it.)

Next item on the agenda was bowling. At All Star Bowling Lanes. This was Arlee's first time bowling and she really enjoyed it.

David helping Jayden

Kali

Arlee's first bowl ever! Check out the pins!!!!!!!!!!!

Kali and Arlee... Arlee is happier than she looks too I promise

Hans with the great form

Hans assisting Arlee with her bowl.

This was the guys 2/2 games. Jake's was a bad game too. Crazy huh?

Arlee's first ever game and she didn't hit the bumpers all that much either. It was insane. Good times for sure and it will be happening again.

The Peters left early Sunday morning and weren't able to stay for Jake's birthday dinner, but here are some pictures.

Braxton and of course me.

Jake and Kasiah. Note: Kasiah loves to help blow out everyone's candles... me however, I like to blow out my own. : P

Kasiah playing with this play dough that never dries out. It is pretty weird feeling.

Jake and Kasiah (Jake didn't realize I was taking the picture I guess.

Arlee not saying cheese for one of oodles of pictures. I hope this is not a trend seeing that I absolutely love it when she smiles.
