Play Time!

Arlee was able to have her friend, Gage come over. Gage is one of my best friend's little boy. They are 2 weeks apart exactly. They have so much fun together. Here are some pictures from their day.

Gage and Arlee at the table. Arlee loved his Mickey doll.

Arlee doing her excited face

This is what Arlee does when I say make faces at me

At this point Arlee was in the house trapped with most of her stuffed animals that Gage had been putting in there.

(kind of blurry) Arlee poking her face out for air. : P

They started helping me make cookies and then decided to play in Arlee's room. Snicker Doodles! YUM

The Day Has Come...

The day has come to make my little girl official. Hans and took Arlee to get some "prettys" as she calls them. Yes, we are the type of parents that think it is okay to pierce their little ones ears. We got them done on Saturday, March 5th. Arlee wasn't too sure about some stranger coming to close to her, but she did pretty well.

Arlee sitting in the BIG chair waiting for the ladies to be ready to pierce her ears. This is a sad face, because she didn't want to sit there by herself. I got to be the one to hold her while they made the marks for the correct spot. This took a little bit since she wouldn't look at the lady's nose. Hahaha.

Arlee is now doing a little bit better sitting there by herself. (These first two pictures were before I held her on my lap.)

This is Arlee and Hans about two minutes after getting them done. She was fussy until we asked her if she wanted a sucker. Now when you talk to her about her earrings she will say "Ow-ie!" Sometimes she will say that and then right after she will say, "All better" She was so much better than I thought she was going to be and I am grateful for that. I am glad Hans was up for it too. When I would talk to him about it when she a  little bit younger he would ask, "You really want to get them done?' I would always say yes. When we were talking about her birthday presents. Hans mentioned, that he thought we would get her ears pierce for her birthday. I thought that might not be the best present for a 2 year old so we got them done a head of time and we'll be giving her something else.
It seems weird that she will be two in less than two weeks. I am not sure what we are going to do about her birthday party, but I will have to figure it out very soon.

OUR 4TH ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hans and I just celebrated out 4th anniversary together. I know that it isn't really that many years compared to other couples, but to all those single people or people that haven't been married as long as us... We know it all. Just joking.

The day started off with Hans going to his rotation (I know right). The pharmacist that is in charge of him wouldn't let him have it off even though he is going there four other days of the week. It is OOOOkkkkay though we still had a good time together. Here are some pictures and brief descriptions.

We went to eat at Joy Luck. It was delicious. Hans is looking at the menu here as you MAY be able to tell. : )

Me and Hans waiting for our food.

I forgot to take pictures of our soup, but I had egg drop and Hans had hot and sour.
This is a picture of my pineapple chicken. That is in a pineapple! So CLEVER. Hans ate my Shrimp Prawn since I don't like fish and all. (Arlee ate mine last time)

Hans' food (forgot what it was called)

I know it looks very filling doesn't it? We ate all but one, before I remembered to take pictures. Our delicious Cheese Wontons.

After dinner we went to the Commons in hopes that we could see a more adult kind of movie at 6PM, but instead all that was on was Gnomeo and Juliet. This is a movie that Arlee would have liked I think. I wanted to ditch it and watch a different one, but Hans would rather stick it out. Too bad, I say. Anyhow the 3D effects were pretty cool. : )
Hans and I will be making up the downer movie this weekend I think.

This is our present to ourselves. We got it a couple days late, but it was okay since we knew what it was anyway. You may be thinking, why did they get a surround system while they are in an apartment still? I really don't think that we even know other than it was a really good deal and we won't be much longer. So there you have the events of our 4th Anniversary.

Hopefully, by our next one comes it will include a little one either here or one the way very soon. Honestly, I am hoping for any other month than March, but I will take anything I can get.

Just a side note: Today was my due date for the one I miscarried, but I know that things happen for a reason and having another child before Hans has a pharmacist position and in an apartment would have made things a lot more interesting. This I know for sure.

Thank you Kali for watching Arlee for us. I am sorry that it wasn't the easiest time, but we sure appreciated it.

Peters Here= Playtime

My sister, Lyndsay came into town with her family. When they are in town most of the family if not all gathers to have some fun with them. Here are some pictures from our adventures with them.

Jump and Bounce (7800 S and about 4100 W in West Jordan): This place was full of balloon slides where not only the kids could have fun, but the adults too. It was a blast and not that expensive either.

Hans and Arlee

Arlee getting ready to go down

Jayden posing for a picture

Arlee just loved the slides

This slide was by far her favorite. She needed help getting up the part on the right in order to go down, but we loved it too.

Jake with Dallon and Kasiah

Arlee dancing to the music. Katy Perry's firework song.

This one hurts your feet at the end, because it was so steep. We tried really hard to avoid getting hurt on it, but it didn't work.

Arlee riding the blow up animal

My brother, Jake being all sorts of crazy.

Kasiah, Me and Arlee taking a breather for the camera.

My brother in law, David would throw Kasiah in the air to land on the arch here. They loved it.

Jayden being tossed!

(no one was hurt in the insanity)

Trying to get all the kiddos up so they could slide down together. This thing was steep!

Jayden going down the slide

Jayden and Kasiah stopping to grab a slice of pizza (which we are all pretty sure that we got sick from it.)

Next item on the agenda was bowling. At All Star Bowling Lanes. This was Arlee's first time bowling and she really enjoyed it.

David helping Jayden

Kali

Arlee's first bowl ever! Check out the pins!!!!!!!!!!!

Kali and Arlee... Arlee is happier than she looks too I promise

Hans with the great form

Hans assisting Arlee with her bowl.

This was the guys 2/2 games. Jake's was a bad game too. Crazy huh?

Arlee's first ever game and she didn't hit the bumpers all that much either. It was insane. Good times for sure and it will be happening again.

The Peters left early Sunday morning and weren't able to stay for Jake's birthday dinner, but here are some pictures.

Braxton and of course me.

Jake and Kasiah. Note: Kasiah loves to help blow out everyone's candles... me however, I like to blow out my own. : P

Kasiah playing with this play dough that never dries out. It is pretty weird feeling.

Jake and Kasiah (Jake didn't realize I was taking the picture I guess.

Arlee not saying cheese for one of oodles of pictures. I hope this is not a trend seeing that I absolutely love it when she smiles.

Remember when....

I was looking through my pictures when I came across this one. My dad was holding Arlee and she was pretty fussy. It seemed like out of no where it was peaceful again. I looked over and my dad had Arlee asleep. This picture was taken a year ago today. My oh my Arlee has grown. : ) Now she needs to fall asleep in her bed or play pin. Otherwise, forget it. She doesn't even sleep in the car anymore, unless it is for 5 minutes.
Anyway, there is a little picture down my memory lane.

YEA!!!!!

I have been so lucky these last six weeks. Lets just say that I am very excited that it finally worked. My ear surgery went great as some of you may have read. Not only did it go really well in the operating room, but during recovery too. I went to my doctor appointment a couple of days ago and he said that my packing (stuff that holds the ear drum in place so it can take to the graft) is gone. YEA!!! What does this mean?! I can start blowing my nose, air plane rides, etc. The only thing that I should refrain from is getting water in it until he clears me; hopefully in April.  Blood vessles look great so that means that they have taken to the graft, which is a really good sign I shouldn't have another surgery.
Just a side note: I had a hearing test and voices I can hear better, but pitches are still about the same with little or no improvement.  I am glad that I am hearing voices better. since that seems to be the thing that I struggle with on a daily basis when people are talking to me. If any of you would like me to hear you really well either talk right in front or on the left of me. If you are on the right and I am not looking at you and you are trying to be quite, I cannot promise any reaction. Just saying.

Thank you for the prayers and support on my behalf it means a lot.

Love you all,

Chels

P.S.
Not sure if this is a good thing all the time, but I can actually hear Arlee when she wakes up and I am sleeping on my good ear. WOOOOooooo WHOoooo!

Arlee's New Favorite Song

Arlee now has a new favorite song. DRUM ROLL PLEASE!  ............ ........... ......... ........... ......... ............ ......... ........... ........... ............ ............. .............. ............. ............. .............. ............. .............. ............ ........ ...................... ....................................  ................................   ........................... .............
None other than Pocket Full of Sunshine by Natasha Beddingfield. Listen below on the playlist. #29!

Story behind this post:

I was looking at some trailers from movies and there was one for Easy A (stupid, don't watch it). The main girl was singing; "I gotta pocket gotta pocket full of sunshine..." Anyway, Arlee stops what she is doing and just starts "shakin it". When the trailer was over she says, "MORE?!" Now when she hears it on the radio she does the same thing. Arlee loves to listen and dance to music and usually envolves Hans and I in this booty shakin fun. Dancing with our little girl is a joy and it usually ends with Arlee dancing/shaking so hard that she falls over... Then the laughing begins. haha aaaaaaaaaa ha
We love our little girl. She is a giggly little thing. : )

Until next time: Shake it, Shake it, Shake it like a Polaroid Picture. Oh man I am funny! (also on our playlist except it is a remake -HEY YA!)
