Vantage with the Moons

We were invited to so up the the "lake", being the Columbia River called, Vantage!
Hans had already made plans to go fly fishing with a couple of his friends so I went up with the girls by myself. Which with this family you don't feel by yourself at all. They are so welcoming and helpful with the girls.
After getting Arlee lathered up I told her to go and play in the sand. Next thing I know people are yelling, "someone is in the water, help them". I looked up to find my friend's sister running in and grabbing a little girl out of the water, who was doing a pretty good job keeping her head above. Well, that little girl was Arlee. She lost the PINK shovel and went in to get it. Well she couldn't reach. Thankful that someone noticed her and said something. Seriously! I wanted to leave right then and there. I was worried it might happen again.
I talked with Arlee and I told her she wasn't to go in the water with out me looking and helping her. We put her life jacket on and sent her to play in the sand again. This time I was watching her while I was lathering up Lydia. DUMB MOM moment right there!
After us all Arlee didn't go in the water with out me or another adult. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing and pleasant.
Seriously cannot get enough of her little expressions!

Arlee and her friend PLAYING IN THE SAND!
Lydia finally tuckered out and took a nap.
I was able to go on the tube during this time and had a blast! Arlee was also able to go on the tube and loved it. She wanted to go again and again.

Vantage was a lot of fun and one of my favorite places in Washington. Oh yeah, and it is only an hour away!
